Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quality Control
    • Lead root cause analysis teams for non-conforming products to drive improvements in First-Time Through (FTT)
    • Lead scrap reduction activitie
  • Champion designated CI-OS (Continuous Improvement Operating System) projects
    • Process Optimization
    • Supply Chain Optimization
  • New Product Development
    • Workflow design
    • Processing equipment selection
    • Program management responsibilities
  • Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement.
    • Improve the efficiency of each production process
    • Ensure processes are operating effectively, efficiently, and in control, including Molding, Sintering, Sizing, internal secondaries, and external secondaries.
  • Evaluate employees' tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to improve productivity.
    • Perform labor studies for labor map optimization activities
  • Supporting role in the following:
    • Capacity Planning
    • Equipment Commissioning
  • Proficiencies in:
    • Data Analysis
    • Compliance
    • Safety Protocols
    • Ergonomic mindset
    • Problem Solving
    • APQP

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, trigonometry, and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Computer knowledge and experience is required.
