Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.Investigates the cause of nonconforming product.Enforce safety and sanitation regulations. Observe and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers. Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers. Maintains and update records of employees' attendance and hours worked using HR systems.Adjust machines and equipment when needed.Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services. Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Review schedule for decisions on what needs to be on production floor. Assign work based on experience, job knowledge and urgency. Uses PLEX.Uses Office 365 for daily business operations. Uses PLEXdocument control system for QMS purposes.Participates in employee suggestion or involvement programs.Participates in 2 Second Lean and 5S activities. Participates in continuous improvement activities.   Position Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D. Requires ability to stand for periods of time.Requires ability to climb stairs and ladders. Requires ability to lift loads of up to 50lbs. Requires the ability of fine manipulation and grasping with hands.Requires the ability to perform repetitive motions with various limbs.Requires the ability to walk, climb, bend, squat, reach and kneel at various times throughout the work day. Requires the ability to read and interpret fine print. Ability to work well with others. Powder metal background preferred.
