The Impact You’ll Have:
We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to assist in executing marketing strategies and content creation. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the engineering and consulting industry. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and supporting a team.
Tasks You’ll Assist With:
- Organize and maintain digital media assets, including photos, videos, and project information.
- Help with SEO, slugs, and meta descriptions on the company’s website.
- Take and edit photos from internal events, to project photography.
- Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for Alliant’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Help write, edit, and proofread marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, email campaigns, and brochures.
- Help manage and update the company website and online portfolio.
- Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external marketing events and activities.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Photography skills are a plus
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Lightroom and Photoshop).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) and email marketing platforms is a plus.

The pay rate for this position is expected to be $20-22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
