Collaborates with other departments and vendors to ensure the proper functioning and sanitation of all facility space, systems, and equipment. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in developing and managing the facilities maintenance and housekeeping budgets. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures for the staff and facility users. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and events Communicate effectively with staff, management, and stakeholders regarding facility housekeeping and maintenance. Maintain constant two way radio contact Other duties and tasks, as assigned. Facilities Specific: Work with the Facilities Director to develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool operations and structural components. Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities with internal teams and external vendors. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety inspections. Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to schedule maintenance and repairs. Source and evaluate vendors for maintenance services and supplies. Housekeeping Specific: Manage shift schedules in coordination with Facilities Director, including but not limited to call outs and coverages. Manage back stock of housekeeping supplies, and reporting any need for ordering to Facilities Director Provides training including safety and standard operating procedures to all housekeeping staff. Supervises the work activities of housekeeping staff under the direction of the Facilities Director. Assigns work and ensures the housekeeping staff is practicing efficient and effective procedures. Ensures adherence to UVAC quality standards by inspecting facility each shift. Perform housekeeping duties alongside housekeeping staff, as needed. Maintain communication with and attend once a week check in meetings with Facilities Director. Oversee housekeeping responsibilities during special events occurring during shift   Position Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Strong understanding of facility maintenance protocols Ability to effectively lead a team of maintenance and/or housekeeping staff Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficient in software applications (Google, Microsoft), preferred Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Highly responsible and reliable. Ability to multitask. Education and Experience: Vocational training or certifications in facility management, maintenance, or related fields is a plus. CPO Certification (or be certified within 90 days of hiring) Previous leadership experience preferred CPR/First Aid/AED certification - Will provide if needed Physical and Schedule Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Long periods of standing Must be able to reach, stoop, and kneel, as task requires.
