Share Email Opening Title 735 Wait Staff  Location Cedar Lake's Pub 33 (2009)   Description POSITION SUMMARY Serves guests in a prompt and courteous fashion. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Services our guests with beverages in a prompt and courteous fashion. Supports good guest service throughout casino floor. Assures service carts are cleaned, free of any soda, coffee, or residue including the wheels. Assures beverage room is cleaned thoroughly including inside cupboards and shelves, getting rid of cardboard debris and garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, and washing walls. Restocks all condiments including cream, sugar, stir sticks, coffee cups, and soda cups. Assures all containers are clearly marked at all times. Wipes down all dispensers, containers, sinks, and countertops on every shift. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned.     Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must be friendly, courteous and prompt. Must be able to speak openly to guests in a friendly and respectful fashion. Must be able to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds. Subject to internal working conditions including a smoking environment. EDUCATION AND SKILLS Education Required: High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency (GED). Experience: No prior experience necessary. Computer Skills: Must have basic computer skills.
