Program Director needed for a gainful position in Baltimore, MD working part-time (20-30hrs/week) on a hybrid schedule. This position is based in Baltimore, MD (ZIP: 21244) and offers remote work with regular in-person meetings and site visits required.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced leader to serve as Foster Care Program Director for a small, community-based foster care program. This is an opportunity to lead with heart, shape the quality of care provided to children and families, and support the professional growth of your team through clinical supervision and oversight.

Salary: $60,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership for the foster care program

  • Supervise and support foster care case managers and clinical staff

  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and agency policies

  • Oversee and approve treatment/service plans and documentation

  • Conduct or coordinate clinical supervision for LMSWs toward licensure

  • Collaborate with state and local agencies to ensure quality outcomes for youth in care

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, placement decisions, and family engagement strategies

  • Assist in recruitment, training, and retention of foster parents

  • Lead quality assurance efforts and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Contribute to program development, evaluation, and grant reporting as needed

 
Position Requirements
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) in Maryland – REQUIRED

  • 5 years of experience in child welfare, foster care, or related services preferred.

  • Supervisory experience with clinical staff (preferably with license-eligible supervisees)

  • Strong knowledge of COMAR foster care regulations and trauma-informed care

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and family-centered care
