CVM is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Supervisor. If you have a keen eye for detail, outstanding leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you! 

Work shift will be from 11:30am - 8:00pm

Position Summary: To assure that the dining facilities run smoothly, assuring that residents are served promptly and properly.

Essential responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervise Dining Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the dining room to ensure smooth service and a high standard of resident satisfaction
  • Staff Management: Train, mentor, and manage dining room staff, ensuring that they adhere to company policies and provide excellent customer service.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food presentation, service speed, and dining room cleanliness to maintain a superior dining experience.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet residents/guests, address their concerns, and ensure their needs are met promptly and courteously.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage dining room supplies, including tableware, linens, and other essentials, to ensure they are adequately stocked.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from guests and staff to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Experience with Table De'cor: Candidates should demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics in creating elegant, inviting dining spaces. Experience in setting and maintaining table décor—including centerpieces, place settings, linens, and seasonal or themed arrangements—is essential. The ideal candidate will understand how table presentation enhances the overall dining experience.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Position Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a dining or restaurant setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues effectively and professionally.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges.

Hillcrest, our assisted living center, is licensed as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly by the California Department of Social Services. Our Health Center is licensed as a skilled nursing facility by the California Department of Public Health.
