Share Email Opening Apply Now Title 670 Hotel Laundry Attendant  Location Cedar Lakes Casino   Description POSITION SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides clean and sanitary linen for Guests and is done in an efficient manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains a clean, neat working area. Assures that laundry equipment is running properly. Washes lines as they are available. Keeps inventory of linen in storage. Maintains all pertinent equipment. Folds and stores laundry appropriately. Keeps count of laundry washed per day. Trains in for room cleaning. Responds to guest inquiries in a timely, expedient manner. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned.     Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Knowledge of all cleaning chemicals used. 2. Knowledge of assigned cleaning equipment. 3. Dependable, honest and trustworthy. 4. Must have a good attendance record. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically capable of pushing, bending, standing and walking for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment. EDUCATION AND SKILLS Education Required: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience: No prior experience necessary Computer Skills: No computer skills required.
