Technical Customer Support - II 


Description

 

This is a service based position focused on creating a positive experience for our customers with every interaction. Customer satisfaction is accomplished through respectful communication, knowledge, and resolution of customer concerns in a timely manner. This position requires accurate processing of requests and coordination with other departments to resolve inquiries. Candidates must demonstrate a desire to build and maintain business relationships with customers by providing prompt and accurate service so as to promote customer loyalty.

  • Provide excellent customer service, including but not limited to:
  • Follow-up
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Exceeding customer expectations
  • Provide over the phone technical support for mindSHIFT customers including hardware, software, and customer specific applications.
  • Respond to customer emails within specified time frames.
  • Create or assist in the creation of documentation both internal and external.
  • Creation and submission of KB articles for review.

Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Call Center Manager.

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Candidate must have a drive to serve customers
  • 2+ years experience in the areas of Help Desk or field technician support
  • Candidate must have 1 year experience providing phone support to computer users.
  • Must have advanced knowledge in the Microsoft Office products, Windows XP\7, computer/printer hardware, TCP/IP protocols, basic network architecture and security.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and problem solving skills.
  • 2 year Associate degree in related area or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds in the form of computers, monitors or printers
  • Some sort of customer support experience (i.e. preferably candidates with more than just a degree in the field) 1+year
  • Active Directory experience 1+ year
  • Server 2003/2008/2008r2 administration experience 1+ year

Preferred:

  • Experience with Exchange 2007 or later 1+year
  • Experience administrating Cisco VOIP solutions 1+year
