Community First Health Centers is seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing content creation, overseeing communication initiatives, and enhancing brand awareness. The ideal candidate will be skilled in digital marketing, public relations, and content development to drive engagement and business growth.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position.

Hours will be gained Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

General Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements an approved comprehensive Marketing Strategy aligned with CFHC’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities.
  • Assists in creating and managing the annual Marketing Budget, tracking expenses, and evaluating return on investment.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for public relations, coordinating media inquiries, press releases, and community outreach.
  • Manages and creates content for traditional and digital media platforms, ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and engagement.
  • Oversee website design, content updates, and functionality to ensure accessibility, relevance, and alignment with marketing strategies.
  • Plans and coordinates community engagement activities, health fairs, and employee involvement in key events to enhance visibility and outreach.
  • Develops and maintains brand identity across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Assists in the development of business expansion efforts, identifying new service opportunities and partnerships.
  • Develops and ensures access to educational materials, brochures, postcards, business cards, and other marketing collaterals.
  • Leads internal communication efforts, including employee newsletters, leadership updates, and organizational announcements.
  • Develops and executes internal communication strategies to enhance staff engagement and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conducts market research, surveys, and data analysis to assess community health trends, patient needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Develops and implements crisis communication strategies to manage emergency situations and public concerns.
  • Ensures all marketing and communication materials comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, ADA) and accessibility standards.
  • Supports internal initiatives to enhance workplace culture, employee recognition, and engagement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Business

AND

3 years relevant experience.

  • Flexible with the ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, to effectively and tactfully deal with a diverse group of patients, staff, customers, and community groups.
  • Must understand Age-Specific Care.
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support certification.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
