Share Email Opening Title Tanning Representative  Description The Tanning Representative is the club level specialist of our Relax and Recover department. Maintaining a full knowledge of our tanning beds, hydro massage and spray tan units, the Tanning Rep. is the spear head for our service and product sales.   Position Requirements Position Responsibilities Consults with customers in a professional, upbeat manner: able to knowledgeably suggest safe tanning times and different UV tanning beds and spray tan options Comfortable working in high paced environments Social media and community outreach Reaching and exceeding sales goals weekly and monthly Daily administrative paperwork, and goal tracking Continually use suggestive selling techniques to increase tanning product sales Maintaining a clean and organized tanning facility, ensuring not only visible cleanliness but constant proper sanitation Ability to thoroughly and competently explain the difference in tanning equipment, UV light types, and different tanning lotions Balancing all needs of the tanning desk during extremely high traffic periods of the day Position Qualifications High school diploma, or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven experience in retail/customer service environment Reliable transportation Current CPR/AED Certification SmartTan Certification, paid for by Fitness Ventures LLC Salon management and sales experience preferred Employment Eligibility All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
