Performing Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) examination on patients to determine peripheral vascular disease. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Perform all ordered ABI per Practice protocol and guidelines. Communicates with all employees, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills. Handles and maintains knowledge of all medical equipment utilized in the care of the patient. Complies with all facility policies and procedures, while upholding the high expectations of the Practice. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and appropriate facility meetings. Shares knowledge and experiences gained from own clinical practice and relevant education. Participates in the orientation, training and teaching of other employees as needed. May assist with and respond to all electronic faxed, telephone refill request and, patient portal messages. Travel to all offices when necessary Other duties as assigned per the need of the organization and within scope of licensure.   Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Skills in the process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others. Ability to travel to other sites as needed. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 2-years medical experience preferred (CNA, MA, LPN or equivalent a plus). Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
