Position: DSP-Medical
Pay rate : $21.25 /h starting ($1000.00 sign on bonus after first 90 days of employment)
Position hours are: Full-time, Monday-Friday** 7am-1:30 pm**(30 minute lunch),** 30 hours a week. Flexible Hours will be needed to attend medical appointments as needed.

The Direct Support Professional- Medical (DSP-M) is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall support to individuals living in Skill Creations, Inc. ICF-IID facilities, who have physical and/or intellectual disabilities and /or
medical care needs. This position provides or assists with activities according to the specific needs of the individuals. This includes personal care (bathing, dressing, hair care, dental care) mealtime and simple household tasks such as
laundry, cleaning or bed making. The Direct Support Professional also assists with teaching communication, recreation and leisure skills and appropriate behaviors. The DSP-M works closely with the medical provider/physician, RN, facility Director and QP to assist with assuring the individuals' medical needs are met. The DSP-M prepares, administers and documents individuals' medications and/or treatments as prescribed. Other duties include providing transport and/ or accompanying to local or out of town medical appointments.

Requirements
- 19 years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED
- A valid driver's license
- Working personal phone
- Dependable transportation
- Proficiency in computer use for e-mail, electronic paystubs, completion of training modules, electronic medical record documentation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Position occasionally requires balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Ability to drive company vehicles (3 yrs. Driving experience, driving record that meets our insurability standards)
- Ability to work on holidays and during inclement weather
