Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties pertaining to systems supported by the Technical Services Dept. while complying with all rules set thereof. Individual should have knowledge of electric and electronic principles including AC and DC circuitry and microprocessors. Familiar with the operation of Volt-Ohmmeter and other electronic test equipment to analyze, troubleshoot and repair various types of circuitry. To manage, administer, develop and maintain all critical utility applications. These systems include: SCADA System and sub-systems, Tantalus AMI (TUNET), MDMS application Electsolve, Read Center (manages water and gas interval data), Route Manager, UBILL application interfaces, Milsoft OMS DisPatch, Porche IVR, Porche Texting gateway along with future applications and ever evolving interfaces.

Installation, provisioning, testing and troubleshooting of various TDM and Ethernet telecom data circuits such as T-1, DS3, 10/100Mbs, GigE and Nortel platforms. Works in conjunction with Network Operations Center to maintain system integrity and connectivity.
Installation, provisioning, testing and troubleshooting of LAN applications to include all network cabling, racking, terminations and provisioning.
Installation, provisioning, testing and troubleshooting of video conferencing network for IDL (Interactive Distance Learning) applications.
Completing and maintaining appropriate and accurate work orders, logs, reports and documentation of daily activity.
Installation and maintenance of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system. This includes but not limited to Remote Terminal Units and all peripheral devices interfacing to the various systems of electric, gas, water, sewer, waste water, network management and security applications.
Installation and maintenance of traffic control systems to include controllers, traffic heads, loop detectors, peripheral devices, etc.

High school graduate or equivalent
Degree in electricity, electronics or related field is preferred.
Must have at least 3 years related experience.
Working in outdoor environment year round, able to lift at minimal 75 lbs.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Computer / PC knowledge, familiar with MS Office Suite.
