As part of the institution's strategic plan, a 200-bed residential hall has been built, enabling students to live and pursue their chosen field of study on campus.   Description Position purpose The Online Course Technical Support Assistant provides technical assistance for online course platforms. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with training presentations, and ensuring a seamless online learning experience. Major Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to course access, navigation, and functionality. Assist in generating training presentations and other job-relevant documents. Collaborate with IT and instructional design teams to address technical challenges. Monitor and respond to support requests in a timely manner. Work under the direct supervision of an immediate manager to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Provide daily reports on completed tasks to the immediate manager. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Requirements College degree completed or in progess Professional Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Zoom. Familiarity with LMS platforms and online learning technologies. Reasoning Ability Fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests. Work environment and physical functions This position is in an office environment. Generally, an employee needs to be able to sit, stand, and navigate within the office area. The office equipment, either individually used or shared with a department, is the responsibility of all employees.
