Strong presentation, research, and problem solving skills; ability to prioritize, balance, and meet multiple goals/projects simultaneously; enjoys working in a flexible, often fast-paced, team-oriented environment; able to be fiscally responsible with budgets; and able to plan for and meet deadlines. Must have excellent driving skills and two or fewer points on BMV record for insurance purposes. PUCO required health examination and BMV record check are required. Experience working with school age students is required. A college degree in education and a valid teaching license is preferred.
OBJECTIVE: Support COSI's mission by providing quality programs with a focus on science discovery and learning. Work with educators, experts, and other COSI Team to develop, design, and implement student-centered and teacher centered programs; both on-site and through outreach. Ensure that all learning materials meet audience needs, are developmentally appropriate, and address the various learning styles of the participants.
