Other business-related duties may be assigned. Follows all ISO 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions in the performance of these duties. •Monitor and analyze molding process performance for continuous improvement opportunities •Assist in establishing process control limits and standard work instructions •Develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment to ensure consistent high-quality results •Design, schedule, supervise, and analyze experiments to develop or improve new processes, equipment, or materials [possible white paper opportunities] •Optimize process parameters for yield, throughput, and quality •Support and work with engineering team members during initial tool molding trials and experimentation •Provides appropriate training to APG personnel in processes and procedures •Develop tools [formulas, spreadsheets, etc.] for analyzing and controlling manufacturing processes •Initiate business cases for new capital equipment or more cost-effective processing methods   Position Requirements SKILLS NECESSARY •Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point •Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal •Good analytical skills in using data to make sound engineering decisions •Ability to document and present experimental results and technical knowledge QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
