We are looking for a highly motivated, organized individual to direct all manufacturing processes in our Ridgway, PA conventional powdered metal division. The plant manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operation of the facility ensuring goals and deadlines are obtained. To be successful as a plant manager you must be able to multitask and build a highly effective team. A good plant manager has excellent communication skills and fosters positive relationships with customers and employees.
Plant Manager Responsibilities: Oversee operations to ensure safety and productivity. Implement strategies to maximize production. Analyze workplace productivity and find ways to reduce production costs. Create and managing budgets. Direct recruiting, training, and onboarding of new employees to be able to achieve required production demands. Design and implement plant procedures. Oversee equipment maintenance. Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, Coordinate production, maintenance, shipping, and quality control activities.
