Getting our wine and merchandise into our customers’ hands is one of the most important roles our Warehouse fulfills each day! As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functions for the entire fulfillment process, which include processing orders, managing returns, assigning pick and pack, executing shipping, timely processing of Tasting Room and Estate replenishments, and receiving of incoming stock.
Position Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA - 15 minutes south of Charlottesville city limits, 20 minutes north of Scottsville, VA
Hours: Full-time, non-exempt, regularly scheduled 40 hours/week (Typically Monday – Friday 8:30-5:00; some weekend hours are required during the holiday season. Open availability during peak season (September—December) is needed.
Wage: $28-$32 per hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Management of warehouse staff including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning/directing work, scheduling, evaluating staff, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
- Ensure fast and error-free fulfillment of direct to consumer e-commerce orders; Coordinate UPS, FedEx, LTL, and FTL freight services for fulfillment and wholesale packages
- Develop and implement applicable training programs for the department, create and update SOPs when necessary to ensure staff receive training related to their specific job, and hold team members accountable for known standards.
- Organize workload daily and weekly to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate wine, merchandise, and supply inventory through weekly and monthly counts; update inventory levels in software systems, coordinate purchasing of all warehouse supplies
- Assist warehouse staff in their duties; work in warehouse alongside team in all duties; model the behavior that is expected from warehouse staff
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of supervisor experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment
- 5+ years’ experience managing a 5+ million dollar year ecommerce warehouse.
- Experience implementing new strategies for fulfillment and inventory operations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push /pull 70 pounds repeatedly, comfortable on ladders, proficient with forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Gmail required; experience with WineDirect, OrderPort, or other wine-centric DTC fulfillment platforms preferred
- Valid VA driver’s license and clean driving record
