Description SUMMARY
Responsible for taking food orders from guests in an efficient manner. Must be able to work well with other team members. Prepares/Serves food and beverages to casino guests and operates a point of sale. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Answer questions and help guests understand items on the menu as well as ingredients in those items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The Kitchen Staff must demonstrate proficiency in the following:
1. Must follow work schedule, however the days and hours may be subject to change as determined by management
2. Must verify the amount of the start-up bank received and initial the cash issue form.
3. Will record all cash sales using the casino management system.
4. Prepare food items and keep stocked accordingly.
5. Sweep and mop as needed
6. Inspect food orders for consistency and appeal
7. Clean and tear down equipment.
8. Disinfect the counter area
9. Stock juices, soft drinks, etc.
10. Prepare orders for guests with courtesy and accuracy.
11. Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
12. Presents menu, answers questions, and takes guests orders.
13. Accurately relays guest order.
14. Makes suggestions regarding food and service.
15. Ensures prompt courteous service to all customers.
16. Manages and resolves customers' complaints, reports complaints to appropriate management.
17. Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
18. Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold.
19. Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
20. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
21. Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
22. Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
23. Pre-cook items such as bacon, in order to prepare them for later use.
24. Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee and fountain drinks as well as any other duties to assist in food orders.
25. Prepare specialty foods such as chicken, fries and hotdogs, sandwiches, and tacos, following specific methods that usually require short preparation time.
26. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
 
Position Requirements EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED and/or vocational training or job related course work. Some previous work related skill, knowledge, or experience may be helpful. A Food Handler's permit is required. MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A GAMING LICENSE.

EXPERIENCE
Some previous work related skill, knowledge, or experience may be helpful. A Food Handler's permit is required.
 
Gaming License Obtain/maintain Muscogee (Creek) Nation Gaming License. Key positions require knowledge and application of Title 31 reporting requirements. Food Handler's License is required.
