Perform calibration, maintenance, and (where applicable) disposition or repair on company and employee owned gaging and measuring equipment. Manage and maintain calibration schedule for internal and 3rd party calibrations on equipment. Create purchase requisitions for 3rd party calibrations and new/replacement equipment. Certify measuring equipment traceable to NIST and review 3rd party certifications to ensure compliance to international standards. Develop and maintain internal gage tracking system. Perform daily verification activities on measuring equipment where applicable. Train new employees to properly use measuring equipment. Provide support in improvement and development of inspection gaging. Assist in inspection activities as needed. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager.   Position Requirements Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and 6 months experience in a related field preferred. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, as well as effectively communicate with and instruct others. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to use critical thinking skills and reason to solve problems in group settings as well as independently.
