EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Training and certification in Zeiss Calypso, Quindos, or other CMM software or a minimum of three years’ experience programming CMM’s in a metrology environment.
Strong Blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing knowledge with functional application to the manufacturing process and measurement application.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be willing to attend training classes, seminars, and certification courses at the Company's request. Must possess exceptional computer skills. Must possess good people and communication skills, be self-motivated, and self-driven with the ability to multi-task.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the production floor is usually loud and moderate in the Quality Assurance Department.
