This is a part-time, temp-to-perm position offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on older students navigating their academic and personal development. Key Details: Population: Students with autism, ages 16-17 Hours: 16 hours per week Schedule: Flexible; 4 half days or 2 full days Location: Easily accessible with free parking Type: Temporary-to-permanent Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling tailored to the unique needs of high school students on the autism spectrum. Develop and implement behavior management plans and coping strategies to support emotional and social growth. Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to create and maintain a supportive learning environment. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations. Offer crisis intervention and maintain appropriate documentation of services provided.
