Performs routine venous blood draws, maintains laboratory equipment, organizes laboratory supplies and performs specific tests and study procedures. Assists with patient recruitment, scheduling and screening for study enrollment. Will also collect, record and file patient study data and paperwork, and may assist in preparing grant applications and other related documents.  Opportunity to advance to Clinical Research Coordinator. This position is benefit eligible and includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO. **This position is required to be onsite in Burnsville, MN**   Position Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred, with major in health sciences; or, equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical Assistant certificate or EMT training desirable. At least one year of medical office experience, preferably in a clinical research setting. Previous experience as a phlebotomist, EMT, or CMA desirable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge/experience working with electronic health records (EPIC preferred). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Patient centered; strong customer service orientation. Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines and troubleshoot and resolve problems. Ability to work independently, exhibit mature judgment and make sound decisions.
