As Commodity Sales Manager, you will serve as lead in developing a strategic marketing and sales plan. This plan will be designed to enhance Calloway’s market position and achieve financial growth.
Your role and responsibilities as the Commodity Sales Manager will entail, the following:
- Formulate and execute comprehensive commodity and sales strategies aligned with Calloway’s goals, including sourcing pans, risk assessments, and cost reduction initiatives
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Build CALLOWAY’s commodity base through digital, and print. This includes revamping website to attract buyers of hardware & software
- Establish, develop, and support positive business and customer relationships
- Work with key vendors, i.e., IBM to develop territory and accounts
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
- Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
Minimal Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
Five plus years of experience in product positioning
Experience working with IBM product (highly preferred)
Knowledge of market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply chain best practices
Excellent Customer Service
Strong verbal and written communication skills
B2B sales experience
Software sales experience
