Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, and provide sound advice on legal and regulatory risks. Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve favorable case resolutions. Represent clients in court hearings and other proceedings across North Carolina as needed. Collaborate closely with division Partners to ensure accurate reporting of activity and results.   Position Requirements Active North Carolina law license (required). 0-3 years’ experience in bankruptcy, collections, or civil litigation preferred. J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to additional states in our footprint (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage is a plus. Attorneys admitted through a waiver process or bar examination to an agreed-upon additional jurisdiction are eligible for a $5,000 salary increase upon confirmation. Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
