Mills James, a leader in creative media production and live events, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician / Driver to join our dynamic Live Events team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to play a vital part in our warehouse operations while supporting events throughout the Midwest and potentially across the United States.
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Technician / Driver will manage the preparation, transportation, and inventory of equipment, ensuring smooth operations for live events. This role combines hands-on logistics with the opportunity to operate warehouse vehicles and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Preparation and Delivery:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery and pickup according to schedules.
- Operate commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries, including trips across the Midwest and contiguous United States as needed.
Warehouse Operations:
- Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory control processes with a strong attention to detail.
-Report equipment maintenance needs to the appropriate team members.
Safety and Standards:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to Mills James' exceptional service standards, procedures, and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse and logistics setting.
- Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment is a plus.
- Valid driver's license is required. Must be willing to obtain a Medical Card and Class B CDL; current CDL holders are preferred.
- Highly punctual and capable of working independently without supervision.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including nights and occasional weekends, based on business demands.
