Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The sale and support of avionics products to the Defense and Commercial markets requiring technical products and platform/market knowledge. Requires the ability to make judgments involving complex avionics systems to capture new and ongoing customers. Responsible for the overall Growth, Profit and Loss for assigned product lines, including developing and meeting pricing strategies and targets, and leading all contractual and business negotiations supporting the business.
  • Directly interface with customers, including product presentations, email and phone correspondence, and other means of communication
  • Identify, solicit, and cultivate sales and upsell opportunities with customers, be accountable for achieving established sales revenue and growth goals
  • Lead creation of well-organized and informative capabilities presentations, customer presentations, business proposals, and webinars.
  • Assist in collecting, compiling, and presenting competitive intelligence internally
  • Survey product markets to determine product revenue potential
  • Responsible for preparation of annual and monthly product forecasts quantity of revenue and bookings projections
  • Provide timely, diligent, and professional follow-up to customers and internal associates, regardless of travel
  • Collaborate with internal operations management to ensure all customer concerns, needs and issues are resolved in a timely manner to facilitate ongoing business and focus on strengthening relationships with customers
  • Domestic and international travel required to support business needs. May be up to 30%.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in engineering or other technical discipline, plus, minimum of 8 years direct industry experience.
