Description

Responsibilities include providing Yakima County wide advocacy services to children and their families who are victims of sexual assault, human trafficking or other general crimes; including referral, support and group facilitation in anticipation to increase healthy living skills such as academic success, sobriety and safe living environments. Works in collaboration with outside agencies for case consultation in relation to cases. Maintains, collects and reports data as applicable. Works within the community to increase the awareness and knowledge of sexual abuse, sexual assault and human trafficking by community outreach and education events, public speaking/presentations, distribution of materials, and in-service training to staff or volunteers. Provides back-up pager coverage and/or supervision for evening, weekends and holidays when needed.

 
Position Requirements

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in social services or related field.

Other Credentials Required: Driver's License, Vehicle Liability Insurance
