You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and others to understand complex technical information and translate it into user-friendly documentation. Responsibilities Develop and maintain user manuals, technical guides, and documentation for defense systems. Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to gather and analyze technical information. Ensure documentation meets industry standards and specifications for clarity and quality. Create and maintain design documents, specifications, and training materials. Gather feedback from users to continuously improve documentation usability and effectiveness. Conduct research on emerging technologies to stay updated and integrate new information into documentation. Support the creation of multimedia content to accompany written documentation, including diagrams and videos. Catalog program related COTS and Reference Materials using existing Configuration Management Tool Attend project team meetings and reviews - record and publish minutes and action items   Position Requirements   Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the Defense industry. Strong understanding of engineering concepts, terminology, and defense applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present complex information clearly. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with various departments. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate technical documentation.   Salary Range 60K - 80K and will commensurate with experience   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Level of Clearance Required Secret   Amount of Travel Travel is not likely   About the Organization J.F.
