Welcome to the "What's Next District.' The Public Area Attendant is responsible for ensuring cleanliness through daily cleaning of the venue, event spaces, food and beverage locations, and parking lots. Public Area Attendants will also provide excellent customer service, respond to guest requests, and follow safety and cleanliness protocols. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Maintain open communication with supervisors and managers regarding housekeeping and guest service issues. Complete assigned daily responsibilities as directed Sweep sidewalks and parking lots, removing debris. Spot mop spills on property surfaces. Sweep stairwells and dust handrails as needed. Empty trash receptacles in sidewalks and common areas. Clean and maintain rugs, carpets, and all inside and outside event spaces. Clean and polish floors in public areas such as hallways, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms. Provide exceptional customer service and enhancing guest experiences. Carry a 2-way radio and promptly respond to requests Maintain cleanliness of common area fixtures like lighting, art, chairs, benches, tables, and bars. Clean biohazard areas promptly and appropriately. Ensure all equipment is returned to the department and report any malfunctioning equipment. Replenish supplies as needed. Must be willing to work outside in various weather conditions throughout the year. Exhibit ART! (AREA15's service standards) at all times. Adhere to department and company policies and procedures. Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to AREA15 standards. Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Ability to work effectively in a team environment Working knowledge of cleaning equipment or tools Knowledge of safety protocols and willingness to undergo safety training Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and/or stand for extended periods of time for the duration of the shift. Must be able to independently push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. 6 months of general cleaning experience preferred. Must be able to proficiently read, write and communicate in the English language. Availability for varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work in an environment subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, flashing lights, and smoke. Ability to work in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, wind, rain, extreme cold.   This position is currently not accepting applications.
