This position provides direct services to cases involving abuse or neglect. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, managing cases, placing children in foster care, offering supportive counseling, and assisting families with needs like budgeting, employment, and housing. The caseworker coordinates referrals to optimize service effectiveness, primarily through home and community visits. Travel and occasional work beyond standard hours are required.   Position Requirements BSW degree supplemented by 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
