We are a commercial cleaning company seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for multiple facilities in Ann Arbor.  Including medical facilities, offices, schools and churches. Shift is: Monday-Friday evenings Pay: $18 an hour (travel time between facilities is paid at the hourly pay) Cleaning Supervisor Duties Include:  Insuring all procedures and policies are followed by the cleaning staff Train and retraining staff on cleaning procedures Responsible for making sure the staff is working effectively and efficiently Responsible to make sure the staff is following job cards Set agenda for the week on any special needs or focus Perform inspections and do follow up inspections Responsible for making sure the staff is working within budgeted hours Communicating all matters to their manager and some matters via communication log Working side by side with cleaners Making sure all lights are off and the facility is locked and secure Filling in and completing a cleaning shift Assisting with detail cleaning as time allows Insuring all supplies and equipment are well organized Responsible for nurturing positive attitude amongst the staff Reporting any needs to the Manager   Cleaning Supervisor Qualifications: Team Supervision experience is a must. Communication skills Commercial cleaning experience is preferable. Excellent work ethic and customer service. Superior attendance Reliable transportation and valid driver's license  Ability to lift/move garbage bags and recycling boxes and push/roll recycling bins. Ability to walk, bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
