Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Divisional Manager to lead our Luxury Home Products showrooms, overseeing our showrooms in areas assigned; South Division- Huntsville, Athens and Tuscaloosa. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home builders, designers, realtors and retail management, a passion for luxury home products, and exceptional leadership skills. This role will focus on driving sales, enhancing customer experience, developing strategic, mutually beneficial business relationships and leading a team dedicated to excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Drive sales performance across all showrooms, setting and achieving revenue goals through effective strategies and initiatives.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a positive, inclusive culture that encourages professional growth and collaboration.
  • Customer Experience: Enhance the customer journey by ensuring a knowledgeable and responsive sales team. Implement best practices in customer service and showroom presentation.
  • Strategic Relationships: Build and develop strategic relationships with home builders, designers, social media influencers, and realtors that promotes benefits for all parties.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the Lexington, Florence, and Cincinnati areas to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and product assortment to ensure alignment with customer needs and sales strategies.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgetary responsibilities, including P&L, expense control, and profitability analysis.
  • Showroom Operations: Ensure efficient and effective showroom operations, including visual merchandising, staff scheduling, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local builders, designers, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and reputation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management, with a focus on luxury products or home improvement.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and managing a successful team.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing and lighting products is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.

Physical Working Requirements

  • Mobility and Flexibility:
    • Ability to move around the facility, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
    • Occasionally need to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch to inspect products, equipment, or facilities.
  • Visual and Auditory Requirements:
    • Ability to read and interpret documents, spreadsheets, and written communication clearly.
    • Adequate vision to inspect products, read labels, and operate equipment.
    • Good hearing to communicate effectively in person and over the phone in a sometimes-noisy environment.
  • Manual Dexterity:
    • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate computers, office equipment, and tools.
    • Ability to handle paperwork, manage inventory, and perform data entry efficiently.
  • Work Environment:
    • Work is primarily performed in an office setting, but regular visits to the warehouse or distribution areas are required.
  • Travel:
    • Required travel within the region’s territory
    • May require occasional travel to other company locations, supplier meetings, or industry events, which could involve driving or flying.
  • Extended Hours:
    • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings or weekends, during peak seasons or when meeting deadlines.
  • Safety:
    • Must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
