Share Email Opening Title Test Engineer  Description Perform unit, functional, system, integration, and user case testing on JSE In-a-Box systems and software interfaces.  Develop test plans in accordance with JIAB guidance Use the selected defect tracking and test case management systems to document test sets, record defects, and record test case execution results. Work with the software development team to troubleshoot and remediate issues in development, test, and production environments. Analyze and understand the development environment, architecture, and inter dependencies to determine and apply appropriate test methodologies and cases relative to applications being tested. Investigate alternatives and technologies to improve test coverage and test automation. Have strong problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting, and negotiating skills.   Position Requirements An active DoD secret clearance is required to start. Five years of relevant test experience is preferred. Experience with using test automation tools, test plans, test techniques and frameworks is a plus.   Experience with scripting languages such as Visual Basic (VBscript) and/or programming languages such as Java, is a plus.   Salary Range 90K - 130K and will commensurate with experience   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Level of Clearance Required Secret Eligible   Amount of Travel Less than 10%   About the Organization J.F.
