Pay Range: Starts at $49,895/year. Based on your education, experience, and credentials.
Available Work Schedule: (Full-Time)
- Monday - Friday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Flexible with program needs.
- One weekend day per month is required.
What You Will be Doing:
This Assistant Manager will report to the Residential Operations Manager to provide direct programming and services to residents with developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health conditions. The Assistant Manager mentors, trains, and leads a team of Behavior Technicians to provide individualized care to individuals within the facility. In this role, the Assistant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the intensive residential home.
Required Qualifications/Education:
- Must meet one of the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent AND at least three years’ experience working with individuals with behavioral health conditions, autism spectrum disorders, and/or developmental disabilities; or
- Undergraduate degree in psychology, social work, human development, or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications/Education:
- Undergraduate Degree.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and written.
- Must be detail-oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communications, and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be able to use tools and equipment as required – including pushing/pulling wheelchairs and lifting consumers with Hoyer lifts.
- Must be able to function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with individuals, staff, and support agencies.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset, and at times hostile clients/family members.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Required Licensure/Certification:
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant (Training will be provided, if not already certified).
- Medicine Administration 1, 2, and 3. (Training will be provided, if not already certified).
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance.
- No more than 5 points on license.
- Within 60 days of hire, successful completion and maintenance of the required physical crisis management training(s) and certification(s) applicable to the assigned program.
