Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Area Operations Manager to lead our growing team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee multiple field teams, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that requires strategic thinking, effective problem-solving, and the ability to guide and inspire a diverse workforce.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in construction or millwork, managing teams, and driving operational efficiency, while building strong relationships with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Inspire: Manage and motivate a team of Field Managers and Field Technicians to meet project timelines and maintain superior quality on all installations.
Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key customers, builders, and trade partners, ensuring smooth project execution and prompt resolution of any issues.
Operational Oversight: Coordinate field operations across multiple projects, ensuring that all teams are strategically aligned and workload is efficiently distributed.
Project Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure installations meet company standards, and address any challenges head-on.
Budget & Schedule Management: Oversee scheduling and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Technology Integration: Use BOLT and other tools to track real-time project updates, review schedule changes, and audit the progress of your teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain Stier Supply Company’s commitment to safety and enforce all safety standards on-site.
Training & Development:
To set you up for success, training for this role may involve travel to markets in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia. We cover all travel expenses, including accommodation and meals, during your training.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of leadership/management experience, preferably in construction or a related field
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Experience with project scheduling and budget management is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Dropbox, and construction management software
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable insured personal vehicle for daily use
- Ability to lift and transport materials (50+ lbs) on a repetitive basis
- Successful completion of drug and background screenings
