IFF Aircraft Integration Engineer 

Description
  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, test, or evaluate military IFF systems.
  • Applies systems engineering experience in, but not limited to, system design and implementation, system integration, and system architecture design to perform engineering design and feasibility evaluation, component and system design engineering, or installation, testing and evaluation of IFF equipment, systems and subsystems, and advanced technologies.
  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analysis, reports, change proposals, and other engineering documentation.
 
Position Requirements
  • A BS in Electrical Engineering is preferred, but other engineering disciplines will be considered.
  • IFF and aircraft integration experience is desired, however relevant experience with other Radio Frequency (RF) systems will be considered.
  • Knowledge and experience with laboratory and on-aircraft performance and integration testing of IFF systems and related avionics desired.
  • Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and/or ARINC 429 is desired. 
 
Salary Range 80K-150K and will commensurate with experience  
Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time  
Level of Clearance Required Secret Eligible  
Amount of Travel Less than 20%
