The School Social Worker improves the academic and behavioral performance of at-risk students through counseling, home visits, crisis intervention, and teacher consultation. Reporting to the Assistant Principal of Specialized Services, they handle behavioral crises, and child abuse reporting, and liaise with outside agencies. The Social Worker supports students facing challenges like grief, homelessness, or parenting, conducts home visits, coordinates assistance programs, tracks data, and provides counseling. They also maintain documentation and lead professional development sessions.   Position Requirements NJ LSW and NJ School SW Certification with at least two years of experience serving as a child or adolescent social worker. Ability to work well on a multidisciplinary team. Strong leadership skills.
