System Analyst

  • Conduct System Analysis and data review of end items and provide periodic system health assessments.
  • Collect study and analyze maintenance data from a variety of systems.
  • Develop and execute queries to collect information for multiple Air Force maintenance and logistics databases and collect performance data on major equipment end items and associated components.
  • Answer data requests from various levels including Major Command, System Program Director, and Program Executive Officer.
  • Format data and benchmark system performance, compute availability and reliability metrics, identify maintenance and sustainment trends, and compile assessments of system health for the System Support Manager, integrated process team leaders, engineers, program managers, equipment specialists, and inventory managers.
  • Reference USAF guidance; compute, track, and trend Operational Availability, Mean Time Between Failure, and Mean Downtime.
  • Correlate part availability data and supply information with maintenance reports and system performance statistics, and coordinate findings between supply chain management and program office management.
  • Participate in working group meetings as program office representative in the areas of maintenance management policy and maintenance documentation reporting initiatives.
  • Create presentations and prepare briefings and staff studies to aid the development of program budgets and engineering priorities.
  • Participate in periodic interim management reviews and program management reviews.
  • Ensure technical documents and deliverables are properly formatted, accurate, and delivered on time. Support all aspects of the program office. Prepare and/or support briefing development for SSO-related activities.
Position Requirements Minimum Requirements:
-REMIS, IMDS, and other DoD maintenance/supply databases (LOGPAS, GCSS-AF, D035, D165B, D200)
-Uses Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) in daily analysis and reporting
-Use of Global Command and Control System-Air Force (GCSS-AF)
-Use of System Analysis Tool (SATool)
-PPBES –Program, Budget and UFR development and defense)
-Secret Clearance
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Logistics, Physical Science, Accounting, Engineering, or a Mathematics intensive discipline or an applicable training certificate from an accredited training institution
Total years work experience:
Six Years
Years of experience that may be substituted for education:
Zero Years
Total years technical experience:
Six years of intensive and progressive experience in individuals field of study and specialization.
Total years management experience, if applicable:
Three Years

In depth knowledge of Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) and Integrated Maintenance data System (IMDS . other Department of Defense (DoD) maintenance and supply databases
