Pay: starts at $79,388, based on experience and qualifications
What You Will be Doing
We want people to join our team who share our values of love, excellence, respect, empowerment, and well-being. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing services to individuals residing in our ICFs (Intermediate Care Facility). The RN reports to the Lead Registered Nurse and is responsible for working within the scope of their license to ensure that the physical health needs of the clients are met and maintained on an individualized basis in accordance with policies and procedures and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The RN will coordinate health needs with members of the client's team as well as provide necessary training to team members. RN will also be responsible for delegating nursing tasks to certified direct service providers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from an approved university.
- Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing.
Required Licensure/Certification:
- RN License - State Board of Nursing
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing. (training will be provided, if not already certified)
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles
- Proof of auto insurance.
Experience:
- One year experience working as an RN with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
Special Skills and Requirements:
- Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be able to use tools and equipment as required – including pushing/pulling wheelchairs and lifting consumers with Hoyer lifts.
- Must be able to travel in and out of apartments in order to perform medication passing.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching as well as lifting and supporting patients.
