Description

George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory school located in Newtown, Pa has an opening for an Associate Director of Engagement and the George School Fund

The Associate Director of Engagement and the George School Fund is responsible for overseeing parent engagement and giving at George School as well as managing the School's Advancement Student Leaders program and the EITC/OSTC giving program.

This position will create, plan, and implement comprehensive engagement and giving programs, which include volunteer management, communications, cultivation opportunities, events, and fundraising strategies. Additionally, this position develop and grow relationships with key campus partners to ensure that our engagement work is serving the school and our students well.

 
Position Requirements
  • Three to five years’ experience in Advancement/Development.
  • Experience managing meaningful cultivation events required.
  • Experience with integrating parent engagement into an organization’s greater fundraising goals preferred.
  • Expected to participate in weekend activities such as Opening Days, Visiting Day, Family Weekend, and Alumni Weekend.
  • Commitment to the Quaker values of peace, equality, service, community, and consensus decision-making.
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and to serve the needs of a diverse community.
