POSITION SUMMARY
The School of Strategic Leadership for World Ministry, World Missions, and World Evangelism (SOWM) is seeking highly qualified adjunct faculty instructors to teach courses within its missions program on the campus of Ohio Christian University. Ohio Christian University is doctrinally Wesleyan-Arminian-holiness and is seeking an instructor who aligns with our core distinctives in the field of World Missions.
Applicants must have a minimum of an earned master’s degree. The master degree needs to include either a minimum 18 graduate credit hours in the subject area, or the applicant can have a master’s in another field and have a minimum of 4 years as full-time missionary. Special consideration will be given to individuals with both 18 graduate credit hours in missions and experience, especially those with terminal degrees.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and teach curriculum
- Establish appropriate assignments and examinations
- Engage students in the field of Missiology through academic process, personal experience, and future opportunities
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
According to Ohio Christian University employment policy, all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement.
- Education, Training and Experience:
- Minimum of an earned graduate degree with at least 18 hours in a Missiology field, or
- A master’s degree in another field, but with at least 4 years as a full-time missionary.
- Skills and Abilities:
- The faculty will need to know or learn several classroom platforms like Brightspace and Sonis.
