The Regional Director of Facility Services is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and facility operations functions for HMR Veterans Service's in the state of Texas. This role will require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage/coordinate multiple projects at various locations. Regular travel to various locations across the state is required.

  • Spanish Bilingual preferred. 

Key Qualifications:

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Associates or trade degree in related field preferred.
  • Must have, as a minimum, 5-year(s) experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance/plant related position.
  • Must have knowledge/ability of managing muti-site projects simultaneously.
  • Must be knowledgeable of electrical systems, plumbing systems, boilers, compressors, generators, etc., as well as various mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of long-term care and NFPA standards.
  • Experience in leading/training other staff in understanding Building Management systems, preventive maintenance and electronic work orders.
  • Knowledge of lock-out-tag-out, OSHA, and other safety related standards.

Responsibilities:

  • To plan, organize, develop, educate and guide the overall operation of the Maintenance Departments within the region in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator to assure that the facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.
  • Adhere to, monitor, train, and manage safety program including but not limited to; LOTO, OSHA, and others as required.
  • Travel to various sites within the state as needed for projects, quarterly site visits
  • Heavy Travel Schedule.
