Develop and implement policies related to network and systems security. Supervise and engage in the daily operations of network and server infrastructure Monitor daily operations and systems performance status. Make recommendations and adjustments accordingly to ensure uptime and optimal efficiency. Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide support to users. Communicates with vendors and completes project research as assigned. Evaluate risks, while supporting the development of network recovery and backup processes Assists the IT Director with the evaluation of system architectures and makes recommendations for improvements. Identify gaps within infrastructure and partners with IT Director on risk mitigation. Partner with the IT Director on developing budgets and forecasts. Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively. Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the IT needs of users are met. Coach and execute development training plans for the IT team. Partner with Business Systems Analyst to establish and sustain core organizational IT training. Partner with IT Director to analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance. In partnership with the IT staff, assure support and maintenance of all hardware, software and network components. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. Contributes to business success with alignment and partnership to the overall organizational goals. Assure maintenance of IT documentation. Partners with the IT team to ensure all system procedures and processes documented.   Position Requirements Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has full supervisory responsibilities for the IT Staff.
