Qualifications and Competencies:
- Must be a level 3 or higher PSIA instructor
- Must be organized and have strong supervision skills
- Must be available full time 5 days a week during winter season, weekends and holidays included
- Maintain a caring and sensitive attitude towards guest
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible in response to changing class assignments and working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in all types of winter weather for extended periods
- Ability to ski or snowboard at an expert level in any type of snow conditions
- Punctual and prepared to perform work duties on time
- Must maintain personal appearance in accordance with Bromley standards
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position assists the Snowsports Director in supervising a department of 120+ employees. Hiring, training, scheduling, and leading this team is a critical part of the responsibilities of this position.
Work Environment:
This job operates primarily outdoors, on snow, during the winter season.
Physical Demands:
This is a physically active role requiring several hours of standing and working outdoors; on and off snow. Occasionally indoors using computers and phones as well. Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs over uneven terrain.
