Interactive Government Holdings (IGH) is seeking qualified, trained and capable individual to serve as the National Program Manager for the National Guard Connectedness and Relationship Education System.
NG CARES is an integrated, comprehensive, person-centered (eco)system which builds connections, increases protective factors, and promotes holistic health in support of Service Members and their Families throughout their career. These programs are critical to retention, readiness, and reduction of risky behaviors and emplacing protective environments in support of primary prevention strategies.
Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive):
Collaborate with leaders across the 54 States/Territories/District of Columbia NG in the strategic planning, design, implementation and monitoring of key programs and initiatives.
Assess and identify capability gaps and opportunities for improvement to enable a culture of high performance; report findings and propose solutions to senior leadership.
Monitor organizational progress against the execution of plans and ensures plans are aligned with organizational strategies.
Work with cross-functional teams and collaboration partners to ensure the development of and the management of the deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
Demonstrate innovative thought leadership and strategic thinking.
Develop and maintain a national communication strategy and brand for the system.
Manage NG CARES contract team.
Meet timelines for administrative tasks, activities, and events.
Collect, assimilate, and showcase data to objectively support lines of effort and resource funding.
Maintain accurate data files and records to enable management to track the program’s progress/status.
Create/coordinate online registration for events that require registration. Online registration will be completed utilizing Army 365 and Microsoft Forms.
Attend all meetings, present trainings and reports as needed.
Coordinate with internal/external networks to obtain resources for events, manuals, supplies and materials.
Provide monthly documents and reports that are accurate and meet the suspense of the 1st of each month 98% of the time.
Due to the nature of the service, experience with the military is required. Experience can be gained through prior or current military service, member of a military family, or service as a military family volunteer.
Must possess and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license and a personally owned vehicle that can be utilized.
Work may vary. An uncommon tour of duty may be required. Flexibility with working schedule is mandatory because it impacts the ability to support and serve military.
Travel is anticipated for training. Travel will include regional and national to support mobile training team events.
Contractor employees will be reimbursed mileage according to (JTR).
Skills / Certifications / Certifications:
Master’s degree (preferred) in the area(s) of program development and management, human development, organizational leadership, and/or project management.
A demonstrated capability in program/project coordination, with 5-7 years’ experience in a discipline centered on education/training, organizational development, project management, or implementation science.
A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. Capable of collaboration with Senior Leaders across the 54 States/Territories/District of Columbia(DC) and NGB in the strategic planning, design, implementation and monitoring of key program initiatives.
Skills in monitoring program progress against execution of plans, metrics and desired outcomes, assessing and identifying capability gaps and opportunities for improvement to enable a culture of high performance, and managing multiple complex programs in a fast-paced environment with many partners and stakeholders.
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Responsible for managing the Marketing Coordinator, Financial Analyst and National Training Manager positions in this contract.
The National Program Manager may be required to present briefings and demonstrations to Senior Leaders at the State Level per the request of many states. Travel is anticipated with this position about 30-40% of the time during the first year but could potentially decrease each year after. Travel may vary and will average up to seven (7) days, but no more than 16 days at a time.
