OCU offers degree programs for residential undergraduate students, graduate students, and adult and online students.   Position Custodian - 8-27-2024   Location Main Campus   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Description The Custodial Service team is looking for a self-motivated individual to fill the role of the custodian. The idividual will be responsible for the daily cleanliness of OCU administration buildings and residence halls. Duties and Responsibilities Provide daily building cleanliness requirements in all assigned buildings Provide excellent and timely customer service Handle custodial needs in any building as requested Clean, mop, wash, buff and vacuum floors Empty trash Maintain outside walk areas including sweeping debris and washing walkways Clean and polish fixtures Clean and sanitize bathrooms Clean widows Dust and vacuum furniture Other duties as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS According to Ohio Christian University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community Lifestyle Statement. Education, Training & Experience: High School Diploma Self-motivated Organized Able to communicate clearly and professionally   Physical Functions: Must be able to move and lift at least 50 pounds. Stand or walk most of the time.
