Our install teams are responsible for working in new residential neighborhoods where they focus on installing exterior doors, interior doors, trim, stairs, hardware, and blinds. The purpose of the MultiFamily Project Manager is to maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring jobs are completed on schedule and to correct specifications all while remaining within budget. The ideal candidate is able to establish a good working relationship with customers’ personnel and ensure issues are resolved promptly. Duties of the Project Manager include but are not limited to the following: Promotes all Stier Supply Company safety guidelines and constant strives for zero incidents throughout company Work with customers and contractors to get clear specifications to create accurate takeoffs and provide best information to maximize margins through material management Fully handle the submittal process of awarded scopes Coordinate and assist with transition from Pre-Contract to Post-Contract processes with our customers. Coordinate, track, confirm receipt of special-order items with purchasing and receiving teams. Establish and build relationships with all departments of the customers staff to include construction, purchasing/ operations, warranty, and upper management to foster deep relationship Understand all facets of customer’s construction process to set field expectation and facilitate a prosperous trade partner/ customer relationship Provide work forecast to team to enable better visibility for purchasing, manufacturing, and delivery Coordinate with Distribution Centers to ensure all production materials sold are being carried by the DC and ensure each communities material TO’s reflect those materials Work and assist various departments as needed, including, but not limited to, sales, purchasing, and estimating. Successful use and understanding of all company programs and Microsoft functions. Stay current and educate others on industry trends and news. Employment eligibility. Able to pass drug & background screenings. Be able to lift 50+ lbs. of material repetitively At least two (2) years of leadership/management experience preferred MultiFamily work experience and product knowledge is a plus.
