Position Description: Health Communication Specialist Junior
Summary
The Health Communication Specialist Junior assists in executing health communication initiatives under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP). This role supports the development of content, coordinates outreach activities, and ensures compliance with federal guidelines while contributing to public health awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of health communication campaigns.
- Support the creation of educational and marketing materials, including infographics, videos, and fact sheets.
- Ensure all materials adhere to Section 508 standards and federal communication guidelines.
- Contribute to the management and updating of the Living History Website.
- Participate in qualitative evaluation processes and assist in revising communication strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Communication, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience in health communication or public health outreach.
- Knowledge of federal health communication requirements.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
